By day

Sea mist is often encountered along this part of the coast in summer.

A large silo nearly 70m high, can be clearly seen at the southern end of the harbour. A long mole projecting NW leads into the port. The channel is dredged to a depth of at least 7m. Large freighters enter the port.

By night

The end of the mole is well lit Grande jetée head Iso.G.4sl2mSM and leading lights S of the harbour guide into the channel as shown on the chart.

Note Lights arc frequently reported to be dysfunctional.
